Description: Extend RBA assessments with advanced rule types, enabling conditional logic and skip logic for smarter, more efficient data collection. These rules automatically set or restrict field values based on other fields and allow irrelevant requirements to be skipped, reducing manual effort and ensuring more accurate responses.
Key Components:
- Conditional Logic / Value Condition: Auto-set or restrict a field’s value based on another field’s input
- Skip Condition (Skipping Logic): Dynamically skip irrelevant requirements based on earlier answers
- Rule configuration available directly within RBA assessments
- Seamless integration with existing custom fields and response templates
- Validation safeguards to prevent conflicts between rules
Benefits:
- Improves accuracy by automatically applying the right values and roles without manual entry
- Saves assessor time by skipping unnecessary requirements during assessments
- Enhances consistency across assessments by enforcing standard response patterns
- Creates a smarter, adaptive assessment experience tailored to user inputs
Example Use Case:
- Conditional Logic: If Control Type = “Technical”, then the system auto-sets Control Owner Role = “IT Manager”, ensuring the correct owner is assigned.
- Skip Logic: If Compliance Applicability = “Not Applicable”, then the system automatically skips the next set of requirements, reducing noise and workload.
