linking Assessments to custom register items | Feature Requests

I would like to be able to conduct periodic assessments (particularly QBAs) relating to items in custom registers. CUrrently assessments cannot be linked to register items as linked data.

I have looked at https://roadmap.6clicks.com/feature-requests/posts/qba-scope-definition-linked-data and I think this would address. I want to be able to create a QBA and send it to a respondent who is the owner of an item in a custom register and have that QBA be linked to that custom register item. Can you confirm if the QBA enhancements would allow for this?
